combining her background in rhetoric and composition with research centered on students’ sense of belonging. As a lecturer for UWP 001, she’s working with her students to bring their voices to writing and express the challenges they’ve encountered in higher education as English as a Second Language (ESL) speakers, first-generation college students, or people who’ve traditionally been excluded from education spaces. Her goal? To create a dialogue between students and faculty that builds a more inclusive learning community.
